Install an agent
Installers are served only from Prometheus-controlled endpoints (no source code, no repositories). Each command embeds a single-purpose enrollment token. Version β¦. The download package may show βnot yet publishedβ during early access β that's expected; use guided onboarding above.
Troubleshooting
- After running the installer, the device appears below within ~1 minute of its first check-in.
- If it doesn't appear: confirm outbound HTTPS to getprometheus.io is allowed and the token hasn't expired (7 days).
- Re-run "Generate install command" to mint a fresh token.
Automatic updates
Channel:
Automatic updates keep agents current with signed, RocketCore-approved packages. Turning them off may delay protection fixes. Only signed packages are ever installed.
